Beaver Creek, Colo.- Jan. 17, 2012- Mother Nature has generously delivered nine inches of fresh snow to Beaver Creek overnight and 14 inches in the past week. Beaver Creek has received two feet of snow at mid mountain and nearly three feet (35 inches) at PHQ at the top of the mountain since Jan. 8.

The resort opened more trails today and now has 83 percent of its terrain open with 1,503 acres, 132 trails, all 25 lifts and all three terrain parks. Mountain operations crews will continue to open terrain as conditions permit and the forecast is calling for more snow over the next few days.

Conditions are great and now is the time to get out and ski and plan for upcoming events including the Beaver Creek FOOD & WINE Weekend for a three-day winter culinary experience on the slopes Jan. 26-28, 2012. For details visit www.beavercreek.com/foodandwine .
