VANCOUVER, Jan. 27, 2014 /CNW/ - Today, Monday, Jan. 27, beginning at 6:10 a.m. PST (2:10 p.m. GMT), UrtheCast's two Earth imaging cameras will be installed on the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS), with the event streamed live at www.urthecast.com/spacewalk.

Cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Sergey Ryazansky will perform today's spacewalk to reinstall UrtheCast's cameras, which were installed and removed during a previous spacewalk on Dec. 27, 2013.

Following the installation, UrtheCast will begin calibrating its cameras in preparation for the debut of its Ultra HD video of Earth.
