Universal Textile Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 361.25 million compared to TWD 291.42 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 22.75 million compared to net income of TWD 0.657 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.01 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.17 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.01 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 711.13 million compared to TWD 559.99 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 24.62 million compared to TWD 13.56 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.19 compared to TWD 0.1 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.19 compared to TWD 0.1 a year ago.
