Unisource Corporate Corporation announced that the Visionship G3 Transportation Management System (TMS) and accompanying products will now be deployed in HTML5. HTML5 is a secured web native language used for structuring and presenting content for the World Wide Web. It is the fifth revision of the Internet standard first created in 1990, known as HTML.

At the core, HTML5 has been designed to improve language and multimedia support, while keeping content delivery secure and consistent among all web browser types, computers, and mobile devices. The Visionship G3 TMS is offered to the market as a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Mobile and desktop browsers have adopted HTML5 as a way to standardize secure content delivery across multiple platforms. As Unisource continues to deploy Visionship mobile applications in the SaaS framework, the company has made the critical investment to synchronize all platforms to the latest HTML5 standardized language.
