Türkiye Vakiflar Bankasi Türk Anonim Ortakligi reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported net interest income was TRY 3,073.77 million compared to TRY 14,925.27 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 2,549.77 million compared to TRY 7,509.44 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 0.2888 compared to TRY 1.0724 a year ago.
For the six months, net interest income was TRY 10,609.71 million compared to TRY 24,425.06 million a year ago. Net income was TRY 7,889.36 million compared to TRY 10,769.07 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TRY 0.9232 compared to TRY 1.8329 a year ago.
Turkiye Vakiflar Bankasi TAO is a Turkey-based company, which provides a range of banking products and services. It offers its products and services through its corporate, commercial and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) banking, as well as through its retail and private banking business lines. The Bank is also active in investment banking and capital markets, as well as provides a range of financial services including insurance, financial leasing and factoring through its financial subsidiaries.
