Transcenta Holding Limited announced that Mr. Xiaolu Weng Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has been appointed as an executive Director of the Company with effect from March 21, 2022. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Weng, aged 45, served as the vice president and head of finance at CStone Pharmaceuticals, a company listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, and had the overall responsibilities for financial functions. Prior to that, Mr. Weng consecutively served as the vice president and head of finance at Everest Medicines Limited, a company listed on the Stock Exchange, and the chief financial officer of China at Amgen Inc., a company listed on NASDAQ Global Select Market .

Mr. Weng holds a master's degree in finance and accounting from the University of Sydney, Australia. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Australia and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Mr. Weng has entered into a service agreement with the Company for a term of three years commencing on March 21, 2022 and until terminated by either party by giving at least three months' notice.

Mr. Weng will not receive any remuneration in connection with the performance of his duties as an executive Director under the appointment. He is entitled to additional benefits at the Board 's discretion. Mr. Weng is subject to retirement by rotation and re-election at the forthcoming annual general meeting in accordance with the memorandum and articles of association of the Company and the Corporate Governance Code as set out in Appendix 14 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited .

The Board is also announced that Ms. Wei Wang has been appointed as secretary to the Board of the Company with effect from March 21, 2022. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Wei Wang, aged 39, served as the vice president of Global Capital Markets at ABCI, an investment bank platform wholly owned by Agriculture Bank of China from 2013. Prior to that, she served at ICBCI and Haitong International Securities.

Ms. Wang graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
