Harry Kane kick-started his loan spell at Millwall with a double in the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

The young forward struck twice as the Lions beat Dagenham & Redbridge 5-0 in the third round replay at the New Den.

He also had a hand in two of Darius Henderson's goals as his strike partner grabbed a hat-trick.

Harry's shot fell kindly for Henderson to open the scoring and then Harry fired home from 20 yards for 2-0.

Henderson made it 3-0, Harry was then upended for a penalty tucked away by Henderson for his hat-trick before Harry completed the scoring with a close-range header.

"It was great to score and to win 5-0 was a brilliant result for us," said Harry, who also scored his first senior Spurs goal last month in the 4-0 Europa League win at Shamrock Rovers.

"Hopefully we can now take this into Saturday''s league game at Barnsley."

Harry, still only 18, featured six times for us before joining the Lions, having scored five goals for Leyton Orient in a successful loan spell last season.

"It's a step up for me in the Championship, it will be tough but I'm sure this loan will be a great experience," he added.

Meanwhile, Adam Smith and MK Dons performed admirably before losing 1-0 in their FA Cup third round replay at QPR.

Adam was outstanding at right-back and created the best chance of the match when his fine cross was touched wide by striker Jabo Ibehre.

It wasn't long before Danny Gabbidon headed the only goal of the game from a corner - and Adam and MK's hopes of facing Chelsea at home in round four had gone.
