2. Reasons
In the Domestic Housing Equipment Business, the second quarter performance in both the Remodeling and New Housing segments exceeded the forecast. After giving comprehensive consideration to this performance, as well as the Company's financial condition, profit level and payout ratio, TOTO LTD. decided to increase the interim dividend for the current period to
10 yen, 2 yen higher than the 8 yen previously forecasted. The year-end dividend has also been increased similarly to 10 yen, also being 2 yen higher than the 8 yen previously forecasted, making the forecasted annual dividend a total of 20 yen.
