Tomoegawa Co., Ltd. (TSE:3878) announced a private placement of 2,000,000 Class A preferred stock at the price of ¥1,000 for gross proceeds of ¥2,000,000,000 on February 8, 2021. The transaction will include participation from new investor SMBCCP No. 1 Fund L.P. a fund managed by SMBC Capital Partners Co., Ltd through third party allotment method. The transaction has been approved by the board of directors of the company. The transaction is expected to close on March 31, 2021.
