Tokyo Rope Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales were JPY 45,804 million compared to JPY 47,288 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 1,862 million compared to JPY 2,389 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 1,880 million compared to JPY 1,885 million a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of parent was JPY 1,273 million compared to JPY 1,802 million a year ago. Earnings per share were JPY 78.99 compared to JPY 110.97 per diluted share a year ago. Income before income taxes was JPY 1,880 million compared to JPY 2,455 million a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2018. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 65,000 million, operating income of JPY 3,500 million, ordinary income of JPY 3,500 million, profit attributable to owners of the parent of JPY 2,600 million, earnings per share of JPY 161.26.

The Real Estate-related segment is engaged in real estate leasing and solar power sale business. The Company is also engaged in the industrial machinery business, powder metallurgy business and petroleum business.
