Tokyo Kisen Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2021. For the year, the company announced net sales of JPY 9,889 million compared to JPY 11,825 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 621 million compared to operating profit of JPY 170 million a year ago. Loss attributable to owners of parent was loss was JPY 94 million compared to profit of JPY 300 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was JPY 9.47 compared to basic earnings per share of JPY 30.26 a year ago.
Tokyo Kisen Co., Ltd. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of services such as tugboat business, passenger ship business, stand and cafeteria business. The Company operates through three business segments. The Tugboat segment is involved in tugboat business, charter business, disaster prevention-related business and others. The Passenger Ship segment is engaged in tourism, car ferry and transportation ship businesses. The Stand and Cafeteria segment is engaged in the sale of goods associated with the car ferry business and restaurant cafeteria business.
