The Toho Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8346) agreed to acquire additional 16.67% stake in The Toho Lease Co., Ltd. from The Toho Information System Co., Ltd., The Toho Building Co., Ltd. and Fukushima Shoji Co., Ltd. for approximately ¥180 million on March 27, 2015. Post transaction, The Toho Bank, Ltd. will hold 21.6% stake in The Toho Lease Co., Ltd. Under the terms of the deal, 200 shares will be acquired. In a related deal, The Toho Bank, Ltd. agreed to acquire stakes in four other companies on March 27, 2015. For the period ended March 2014, The Toho Lease Co. had net assets of ¥3.46 billion, total assets of ¥13.96 billion, sales of ¥5.47 billion, operating profit of ¥408 million and net income of ¥259 million. The tentative share transfer contract date is April 1, 2015 and share acquisition date is April 6, 2015.
