The Co-operative Bank of Kenya has announced that it has opened a unit for the wealthy in the nation. The company announced that it has launched a premium banking service targeting wealthy clients in Kenya. The move is aimed at growing its advisory, finance and investments unit. Customers of the service will have to maintain a minimum balance of KES 100,000 or pay a monthly subscription of KES 2,500 to join the service called Captains Club. Members will have access to the bank's wealth management services and discounted investment deals.
