Acquisition of DigitalMe,Brazilian social networks marketing specialistLeadMedia Group (FR0011053636, ALLMG) – a French-Brazilian player in online performance marketing specialised in lead generation, e-CRM and loyalty programme management - today announces the acquisition of DigitalMe, a Brazilian company specialising in the coordination and management of advertisers’ presence on social networks and social medias.Founded in 2009 with a team of 12 specialists, DigitalMe is one of the first companies established in Brazil to provide support to advertisers and brands on social medias and networks. The company has a customer base of about twenty leading Brazilian companies in their respective sector, including Onodera Estetica (health & beauty), Sotreq (construction), Cardif (car insurance), Light (electrical distribution in the state of Rio) and CEMIG (electricity company operating in the state of Minas Gerais) and the former president José Sarney’s Foundation.
DigitalMe services cover the whole spectrum of advertisers’ new marketing objectives on social networks: the recruitment of “fans” and their conversion into prospective customers, the creation and coordination of customer communities and loyalty-building, brand image and brand/customer interaction management, and the production of monitoring reports and metrics on advertisers’ social network activities. To achieve this, DigitalMe provides its advertising customers with proprietary content monitoring and production tools and expertise in the creation and coordination of their presence on social networks. DigitalMe’s services cover the leading social networks, i.e. Facebook, Tweeter, YouTube and SlideShare, as well as many networks that are specific to Brazil, such as Orkut, and niche networks for a customised presence. DigitalMe’s business model is virtuous, since it is mostly based on annual subscriptions. From an editorial point of view, DigitalMe’s content production services include text and video production.The transaction, which took effect on 25 August 2011, involves the acquisition of 99% of the share capital of DigitalMe.
