Baylor Scott & White Health LLC entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 25% of Baylor Scott & White at Centennial and 23.67% of Baylor Scott & White at Lake Pointe from Tenet Healthcare Corp. (NYSE:THC) on January 4, 2018. Under the definitive agreement, Baylor Scott & White will take over the operation of both hospitals. In a related transaction, Texas Health Ventures Group L.L.C. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Sunnyvale from physicians, Baylor Scott & White Health LLC and Tenet Healthcare Corp. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The transaction is expected to be completed in the spring of 2018.
