Tamerlane Ventures Inc. ("Tamerlane" or the "Company") (TSX-V: TAM) announces that the Company has not repaid the senior secured bridge loan in the amount of US$10 million, which was due and payable October 16, 2012.  The Company is currently engaged in discussions with the lender regarding the terms of an extension to the loan.
