Ta Chen Stainless Pipe Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 25,460.825 million compared to TWD 12,046.476 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 4,925.392 million compared to operating loss of TWD 201.753 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 2,338.256 million compared to net loss of TWD 727.495 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.44 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.58 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.43 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.58 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 46,443.172 million compared to TWD 28,247.732 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 7,782.653 million compared to operating loss of TWD 187.663 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 3,770.572 million compared to net loss of TWD 935.885 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.32 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.75 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 2.31 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.75 a year ago.
