Suria Capital Holdings Berhad announced the resignation of Seri Panglima Dr. MD Salleh Bin Tun MD Said Keruak JP. as Non Independent and Non Executive Director. Date of change is January 19, 2023.

Age: 65. Reason: Cessation of Office as Chairman of Qhazanah Sabah Berhad. Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Md Salleh was appointed to the Board of Suria Capital Holdings Berhad (Suria) on 1 April 2021, representing Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB), the majority shareholder of Suria with 45.40% shareholding.

His active participation in public service started in 1990 as Member in Sabah State Legislative Assembly for Usukan constituency for 16 years between 1990 to 2022. Concurrently, he also served as Member of Parliament Kota Belud. Throughout his career, he had assumed critical roles where he was Sabah's Chief Minister (1996-1998), State Minister of Local Government and Housing (2001-2004) and Federal Minister of Information and Communications (2015-2018).

He had also held non-ministerial positions including Speaker for Sabah State Legislative Assembly and Senator for Dewan Negara. Besides his previous roles as Chairman of QSB and Non-Executive Director for Suria, other corporate role that he has held includes Chairman of National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS). He was also involved in non-governmental organizations as Vice President of Malaysian Youth Council, President of SANYA and President of United Sabah Bajau Organisation.
