Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited agreed to acquire 6-1-6 Owada-cho, Hachioji-shi from Sun Life Corporation (JASDAQ:4656) for approximately ¥610 million on March 21, 2013. Sun Life Corporation will incur a loss of ¥976 million from the transaction. Resolution to acquire the deal was signed on March 28, 2013. The transaction is expected to close on March 29, 2013.
As of March 28, 2013, buyer has been changed. Sakaeya Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire 6-1-6 Owada-cho, Hachioji-shi from Sun Life Corporation (JASDAQ:4656) for approximately ¥610 million on March 28, 2013. Board of Directors of Sun Life Corporation made a resolution in favor of the transaction on March 28, 2013. The expected contract conclusion date is March 29, 2013. The transaction is expected to close on March 29, 2013.
