Santa Rosa, CA - (January 5, 2016) - Summit State Bank (NASDAQ: SSBI) welcomes Joe Scaramella as Vice President and Business Development Officer.

'We welcome Joe and his extensive knowledge of community banking and business development in Sonoma County. With more than 30 years of banking experience, Joe's depth and understanding of the Sonoma County business community will assist the bank in attracting more high quality business relationships and assist us in lending another $100,000,000 this year through our Small Business Lending Program,' said Thomas Duryea, President and CEO of Summit State Bank.

Joe graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Economics from Sonoma State. As a former Board of Director for the Santa Rosa Golf and Country Club, Joe enjoys playing golf while developing business relationships and in his leisure time. Joe resides in Santa Rosa and has two adult children, Torre and Dominic.
