Jenius BankTM Launches Savings Account Product in the U.S.

TOKYO, November 8, 2023 --- Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. ("SMFG", President and Group CEO, Jun Ohta, together with subsidiaries "SMBC Group") announced today that it has begun providing the Jenius Bank Savings Account to U.S. residents through Jenius Bank, a digital division of Manufacturers Bank, a California state-chartered commercial bank that is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SMBC Americas Holdings, Inc., a member of SMBC Group.

The Jenius Bank Savings Account is designed to empower customers to achieve their financial goals with greater ease and flexibility. In addition to the personal loan product announced in July 2023, and the savings product announced today, Jenius Bank plans to offer a mobile app in the coming months.
