SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NasdaqGS:SSNC) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire business and assets of O'Shares ETFs from O'Shares ETFs on January 4, 2022. The transaction requires the approval of the Boards of Trustees of OSI ETF Trust and ALPS ETF Trust and of the O'Shares funds' shareholders at a shareholders' meeting to be announced. Under SS&C, O'Shares ETFs will continue to focus on wealth preservation, income and capital appreciation, leveraging SS&C ALPS' distribution capabilities. Following the close of the transaction, O'Shares ETFs are converting to the SS&C ALPS lineup. O'Shares team and their ETFs will be part of SS&C ALPS Advisors. Piper Sandler & Co. served as exclusive financial advisor to O'Shares, with Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP serving as legal counsel.
