SPC Samlip Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A005610) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 10,000 million worth of shares pursuant to a trust contract with KB Securities Co., Ltd. The purpose of the share repurchase program is to stabilize the share price and to improve shareholder value. The share repurchase program is valid until July 4, 2017. As on January 3, 2017, the company had 305,890 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and no shares in treasury through other repurchase.
SPC Samlip Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of bread and food materials. The Company operates its business through four segments. The Bakery Business segment mainly produces bread, sandwiches and bakery foods. The Food Business segment mainly manufactures and sells food including flour, eggs, processed meats and rice cakes and others. The Distribution Business segment mainly sells food materials and related food materials. The Other segment engages in the leasing of real estates, and others.
