Somany Ceramics Ltd. announced that the Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on May 21, 2016, appointed Anjana Somany, Director of the company, as a Key Managerial Personnel, designated as a 'Whole Time Director' of the company, with effect from May 21, 2016 for a period of three consecutive years i.e., from May 21, 2016 till May 20, 2019, pursuant to the provisions under Sections 196, 197, 198 and 203 of the Companies Act, 2013, read with Schedule V to the said Act and rules made thereunder, subject to shareholders' approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting of the company.
