Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation at its AGM held on June 28, 2024 announced that Professor Lau Lawrence Juen-Yee has retired as an independent non-executive Director, and ceased to be a member of each of the audit committee, the compensation committee, the nomination committee and the strategic committee of the Board with effect from the conclusion of the AGM.
