Mumbai, 19 December 2012:DIGISOL has introduced its 150Mbps wireless broadband router DG-BR4000N/E. This new router enables communication between wired and wireless notebooks/desktop computers in the network; and it also allows Internet connectivity to the network. This router has 4 Ethernet LAN ports and 1 Ethernet WAN port for connection to LAN and Internet respectively.
The DG-BR4000N/E has one fixed antenna and can provide wireless data transmission rate up to 150Mbps which enhances the sharing of files, photo, audio, video and gaming experience over wireless network. DG-BR4000N/E is truly a high performance and cost-effective solution for your home and small business environments.
DG-BR4000N/E has a built in Access Point which allows multiple wireless clients to access the LAN resources and Internet wirelessly. The router also supports configuration of 2 additional Guest wireless networks with wireless isolation. The router can bridge wirelessly to another Access Point (up to 4) to extent the wireless network by few meters.
DG-BR4000N/E supports robust security using WPA2 which enhances the security of wireless network to protect sensitive data from hackers. DG-BR4000N/E also supports 64/128 bit WEP encryption which offers first level of security choice to home users to provide confidentiality of the wireless network.
The DG-BR4000N/E wireless broadband router supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup), which simplifies wireless client setup procedures (using push button). This enables user to secure their wireless network quickly and easily.
This router supports Quality of Service based on the application, MAC address and physical Ethernet ports. The priority can be set in 4 different levels i.e. highest, high, normal and low depending on the type of traffic. The 4 LAN ports of the router can also be assigned priority depending on the type of traffic they carry.
