The Kroger Co. (NYSE:KR) and Slate Retail REIT (TSX:SRT.UN) entered into a joint venture partnership to acquire Windmill Plaza in Michigan for $6.9 million subsequent to September 30, 2018. Under the terms, $6.8 million was net of settlement of Slate's note receivable of $11.4 million. The deal value at closing is $7.3 million before transaction costs. The transaction is expected to close in fourth quarter of 2018.
