The quality of concrete is crucial for Centrum Pæle, a company that develops precast concrete piles.

"This is why we chose SKAKO Concrete to supply our new batching plant in Hedensted. Back in the day, we used SKAKO to build our other Danish plant in Vejle, so we knew about the quality of SKAKO's equipment," says Henrik Olsen, Technical Manager at Centrum Pæle.

A compact and fully automatic quality turnkey solution

The new plant at Centrum Pæle is equipped with the ATLANTIS concrete mixer, a high-performance planetary mixer designed to optimize mixing, cleaning, discharging, energy consumption, maintenance, and safety in everyday use.

The batching plant also includes a SKAKO CONFLEX bucket conveyor and a SKAKOMAT process control system. It is a fully automatic solution with a washing station for the bucket conveyor and a washing solution for the mixer as well.

"The plant has a high capacity in relation to its size achieved by placing a row silo on top of a mixer platform. In this way, the plant has the same advantages as a row silo, but it is more compact," says Claus Hansen, Sales & Marketing Director at SKAKO Concrete.

SKAKO Concrete has been in charge of the Centrum Pæle project all the way, from design of the plant to being in charge of the building process and supplying a total turnkey solution to Centrum Pæle.

"The relatively short building time was one of the key factors when we chose SKAKO to build our new plant. We ordered the plant in April 2022 and produced the first concrete in November 2022," says Henrik Olsen.

Stays until the customer is satisfied with the solution

If you choose SKAKO Concrete to supply your new plant, you are in safe hands.

"We support you throughout the entire process, from decision of the right solution through the building process till commissioning and handover of the plant. When the construction of the plant has been completed, the Sales Manager and the Project Manager from SKAKO come by for a final visit, where we go through your entire plant and make sure that everything is okay," says Christian Kurt Hansen, SKAKO's Sales Manager in the Danish market.

"We always stay with the customer until he is satisfied before we hand over the customer care responsibility to our service department," Christian Kurt Hansen adds.
