Ravenna, 31 July 2020 - Sirio S.p.A. (AIM:SIO), leading operator in the Italian "hospital" commercial catering market, announces that a contract between Sirio S.p.A. and French Multinational Group Carrefour has been signed for carrying out services at Bistrot Carrefour located within the Carrefour hypermarket in the shopping center of Grugliasco (TO).

The 2-year service contract, with the possibility of a one year extension, provides that Sirio manages Carrefour Bistrot - for which a turnover of approximately € 2.5 million is estimated in these two years - taking charge of staff and raw materials costs only.

Carrefour is a French retailer group with a turnover of almost € 80.7 billion in 2019, over half of which is generated outside France, present today with 12,225 stores in over 30 countries. Carrefour is the fourth largest retail group in the World in terms of income and sales and the second largest in Europe.

The shopping center "Shopping Ville le Gru" in Grugliasco (TO) is located in the immediate western suburbs of Turin, with a total area of 84,670 sqm and over 140 shops: the Carrefour hypermarket - the central point of the offer and full restructuring and undergoing revival now - is spread over an area of 8,000 sqm to which is added the restaurant with an area of 250 sqm and over 100 seats.

The opening of the Carrefour Bistrot store managed by Sirio in the shopping centre of Grugliasco (TO) will take place on 03 August 2020.

The Sirio-Carrefour Bistrot project was born with the aim to meet the customer's needs throughout the day for a complete and satisfying customer journey. The service consists of four different types of offer : cafeteria, pizzeria, show cooking and grab & go, hence the idea of "four in one" which includes: breakfast, drink, lunch and dinner; with conventional, organic, vegetarian and vegan food, which respects tradition, the land, and is innovative and sustainable.
