Shakarganj Limited is a Pakistan-based manufacturer of food products, biofuel and textiles. The Company transforms renewable crops, such as sugarcane and cotton into value added products including refined sugar, biofuel and textiles, among others. Its segments include sugar, biofuel, dairy, juice, textile and farms. Its sugar business produces different types of sugar comprising pharmaceutical, beverage and commercial graded sugar as well as soft brown sugar, castor and icing sugar, sugar cubes, sachets and retail packs. The Company's sugar business has a combined crushing capacity of around 16,000 tons of cane per day. Its biofuel business products include Rectified Ethanol (REN) for industrial and food grades, Anhydrous Ethanol for fuel grade, and Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) for pharmaceutical and perfume grades. The combined capacity of its distilleries is around 350,000 liters per day. The Company's textile business produces carded cotton and PC yarn ranging from 10/s to 33/s.
