Seria Co. Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 69,887 million against JPY 62,862 million for the same period in the last year. Operating income was JPY 6,819 million against JPY 5,178 million for the same period in the last year. Ordinary income was JPY 6,854 million against JPY 5,202 million for the same period in the last year. Profit was JPY 4,601 million against JPY 3,335 million for the same period in the last year. Basic earnings per share were JPY 121.35 against JPY 87.97 for the same period in the last year.
For the fourth quarter of 2017, the company expected net sales of JPY 143,500 million, operating income of JPY 14,100 million, ordinary income of JPY 14,100 million, profit of JPY 9,700 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 255.80.
