Sony signed an agreement to obtain license to Wi-LAN's portfolio of television technology patents, including a certain 3D television technology developed by SENSIO Technologies. The technology licensing firm's portfolio includes V-Chip parental control, display conversion, closed captioning technologies, and SENSIO's S2D Switch technology. All the remaining terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
