Sanko Metal Industrial Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the second quarter ended September 2019. Net Sales were JPY 16,539 million compared to JPY 16,714 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 1,122 million compared to JPY 1,069 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 735 million compared to JPY 677 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was JPY 190.73 compared to JPY 175.63 a year ago.
For the quarter ending March 2020, the company expects net sales of JPY 35,700 million, operating profit of JPY 2,040 million, profit of JPY 1,260 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 326.76.
SANKO METAL INDUSTRAL CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company principally engaged in the construction works of roofs, as well as the sale of related construction materials. The Company operates in two business segments. The Roof segment is engaged in the construction of long roofs, water-proof roofs, solar roofs and painted roofs, as well as the sale of long molded products and solar molded products. The Construction Material segment is engaged in the sale of residential molded products. The Company also engages in the wholesale of electricity generated by solar power to electric power company.
