Salesforce has promoted Todd Machtmes to general counsel, according to a report from Law.com's Corporate Counsel. Machtmes, who joined Salesforce's legal team in 2005, will begin in his new role Feb. 1, 2021. He is currently executive vice president in Salesforce's commercial legal department. Machtmes served more than seven years as an associate general counsel at Salesforce and more than five years as senior corporate counsel, according to his LinkedIn profile. He will replace Amy Weaver, Salesforce's president and general counsel, who in December was named as the tech titan's new chief financial officer.
