Safilo Group and Hugo Boss renew eyewear agreement early

(Alliance News) - Safilo Group Spa announced Thursday that it has early renewed its eyewear licensing agreement with Hugo Boss for the Hugo and Boss collections through December 2030.

"We are thrilled to renew our collaboration with Hugo Boss in advance, an extremely important partner who represents a particularly relevant asset in Safilo's portfolio. I am therefore delighted that in a few years we will also be able to celebrate the 20th anniversary of our partnership that began in 2006," said Angelo Trocchia, chief executive officer of Safilo Group. "The important rebranding work carried out over the past two years on Boss and Hugo has been fully integrated by us into the eyewear collections, laying the foundation for further success in our markets and distribution channels.

Safilo Group's stock closed Thursday in the red by 0.8 percent at EUR0.90 per share.
