Royal Boskalis Westminster has won a contract worth 480m from Sezad (Special Economic Zone Authority Duqm) for the development of the port of Duqm in Oman. Under the contract, Boskalis will be responsible for the engineering, design, procurement and construction of a bulk liquid berth terminal.Furthermore, Boskalis will undertake various dredging and civil activities, including the deepening of the port basin to a depth of 18m, reclamation of new land, the construction of a quay wall with a length of 1km, a double berth jetty island and stone revetment.
