Rockwell Collins : Maldives’ main airports deploy Rockwell Collins’ passenger processing platform to streamline the passenger experience

• Extends long-term and strategic relationship with MLE
• GAN signs new agreement

SINGAPORE (Nov. 6, 2017) - The Maldives' two main international airports, Velana (MLE) and Gan (GAN), operated by Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL), are now using Rockwell Collins' ARINC vMUSE™ Common Use Passenger Processing System to improve airport processes while expediting the check-in process for passengers. MLE recently renewed its existing contract with Rockwell Collins while GAN signed a new agreement with the company.

'We have embarked on the biggest project in the history of Maldives to develop MLE. More than a billion dollar (U.S.) investment was made to improve the airport infrastructure. ARINC vMUSE provides a more efficient and cost-effective check-in solution for travelers by providing airlines with operational flexibility while making the best use of an airport's existing infrastructure.
