Rision : Acquisition positions Rision as Australia’s leading catering roster platform

Listed Australian cloud-based workforce solutions provider Rision Ltd has announced the acquisition of Online Rostering Pty Ltd trading as RosterCloud, a leading cloud-based software provider which assists events companies better manage their staff.
Rision CEO and Managing Director Kate Cornick said: 'The combination of Rision's state of the art mobile platform and RosterCloud's leading cloud technology positions Rision as Australia's premier rostering platform in the events and catering industry.'

Dr Cornick paid tribute to RosterCloud's co-founder and CEO Rohan Workman, whom she said was a pioneer of innovation in Australia.
'Not only has Rohan built the highly successful and world-renowned Melbourne Accelerator Program, but he has also developed his own start-up focused on simple, innovative and intuitive applications for catering and events businesses.
'This is an important growth segment for us, as it has very high proportion of contingent, shift and casual employees, many of whom work for more than one employer, making the task of roster management extremely complex and labour- intensive.
'We look forward to integrating the RosterCloud into Rision, and further boost their highly successful range of products and services,' Dr Cornick said.
RosterCloud's CEO Rohan Workman said the partnership with Rision provided a great opportunity to further enhance RosterCloud's offering, including the rollout of enterprise mobile applications technology.
