Riken Keiki Co., Ltd. (TSE:7734) agreed to acquire additional 12.3% stake in R K Instruments (S) Pte Ltd on May 30, 2018. Riken Keiki Co., Ltd will sign a contract with R K Instruments (S) Pte Ltd on May 31, 2018. Under the terms, Riken Keiki Co., Ltd will acquire 0.08 million shares and increase the shareholding from 0.24 million shares (38.7%) to 0.32 million shares (51%) in R K Instruments (S) Pte Ltd. Post acquisition, R K Instruments (S) Pte Ltd will become a subsidiary of Riken Keiki Co., Ltd. The transaction has been resolved by the Board of Directors of Riken Keiki Co., Ltd at the meeting held on May 30, 2018. The transaction is expected to be completed on July 1, 2018.
