Renuka Foods PLC reported unaudited consolidated and company earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended September 30, 2018. For the quarter, on consolidated basis, the company reported revenue of LKR 2,282,877,000 against LKR 1,995,244,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 204,743,000 against LKR 169,941,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was LKR 149,740,000 against LKR 153,925,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the company was LKR 86,187,000 against LKR 86,781,000 a year ago. Profit was LKR 121,935,000 against LKR 133,121,000 a year ago. EPS was LKR 0.70 per share against LKR 0.71 per share a year ago.
For the six months, on consolidated basis, revenue of LKR 4,167,720,000 against LKR 3,769,116,000 a year ago. Profit from operations was LKR 320,078,000 against LKR 261,852,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was LKR 243,264,000 against LKR 216,412,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the company was LKR 143,671,000 against LKR 127,116,000 a year ago. Profit was LKR 200,942,000 against LKR 194,116,000 a year ago. EPS was LKR 1.71 per share against LKR 1.04 per share a year ago.
