FALCK RENEWABLES WON 40 MW IN THE SPANISH TENDER

Milan, Italy, January 27, 2021 - Falck Renewables - through its subsidiaries Falck Renewables Power 2, S.L.U. and Falck Renewables Power 3, S.L.U. - has been awarded two lots, for a total of 40 MW related to its own photovoltaic projects, within the tender celebrated by the Spanish government on January 26, 2021. This award ensures a fixed price for the sale of energy during 12 years. One hundred companies participated in the Spanish tender, the first to be regulated under the new incentive mechanism for renewables launched last November, and over 1500 bids were submitted. The auction was open to all sources, with quotas allocated to PV and wind.

This important result is part of a broad development plan of Falck Renewables in Spain, where the Group has a pipeline of about 700 MW with grid connection rights, part of which is already in the planning phase.
