Qualipoly Chemical Corporation Reports Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2021

Qualipoly Chemical Corporation announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,133.777 million compared to TWD 951.321 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 99.966 million compared to TWD 76.406 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 91.561 million compared to TWD 55.402 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.94 compared to TWD 0.55 a year ago.
QUALIPOLY CHEMICAL CORP. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the resin products businesses. The Companyâs primary products include unsaturated polyester resins (UPRs), coating resins, polyurethane (PU) resins, ultraviolet (UV) curing resins, foundry resins, acrylic resins and amine resins. The Company's products are mainly used in the manufacture of boats, entertainment equipment, furniture, paints, insulation materials, electronic materials and others. The Company operates through two business segments. The Qualipoly segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of UPRs, synthetic resins and related products. The Jiangmen Qualipoly segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of coating, paint and synthetic resins. It mainly distributes its products to Asia, Europe and the Americas.
