With every New Year comes resolutions - a time to set personal goals that lead to positive change.

In 2019, PVH will continue to help its associates reach their career goals through the company's learning and development initiative, PVH University (PVH U).

PVH U was created to ensure the company's associates reach their full potential in an inclusive culture where every individual is valued. Offering impactful and engaging courses - in person, virtually, and online - across a variety of topics, PVH U helps support associates build long-term, successful careers at PVH.

Two of PVH U's most rewarding programs are the Leadership Foundations and Leadership Impact Certificate programs. These programs are designed to provide advice and build skills for existing, new and recently promoted leaders.

The Leadership Impact Certificate Program is intended for mid-level leaders to help them achieve business strategies, while learning techniques to lead and develop teams. The program focuses on communicating strategy, leading teams, leading change, executive presence and innovation.

The Leadership Foundations Certificate Program topics include delegation, collaboration, motivation and coaching. This program is designed for front-line leaders to build core skills essential to leading and developing others. Both programs meet over a period of four-five months, with participants coming together four times.

PVH U hosted graduation ceremonies in New York City to celebrate the 80 associates who recently completed these programs. The graduation capstones were the final session, where participants revisited key takeaways from previous sessions and discussed the next steps in their development as a leader.

During graduation, participants were joined by their managers, HR partners and senior leadership for a certificate ceremony and reception.

A few testimonials:

'In addition to all of the knowledge I gained from the course it was a great opportunity to network. I partnered with a few of the other graduates on a couple of projects and we were able to bounce ideas off of one another,' said Anne Pacchia, Fabric Manager, PVH.

'These courses facilitated the tools and encouraged me to think differently, address, tackle issues with a new perspective, as well as motivate and inspire,' said Wanda Ramos, Senior Design Director, Dress Furnishings Group.

Jason Lazzara, Senior Director Digital Marketing & Social Media, Heritage Advertising, said, 'I think one of the biggest and most important takeaways for me from the Leadership Impact Program was learning how to give great feedback to my team, but more importantly, how to get great feedback from my team.'
