PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk (BJB) is looking to acquire a bank in South Africa. BJB is planning to complete the due diligence of the target bank in November or December 2012. Bien Subiantoro, President Director of BJB said that African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NAFCOC) offered three banks to BJB.
Subiantoro added, “This is a surprise, but we have to cross check with the authorities there."
