Prosperity Bancshares, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported net interest income was USD 239.52 million compared to USD 260.68 million a year ago. Net income was USD 112.21 million compared to USD 135.82 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.2 compared to USD 1.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.2 compared to USD 1.49 a year ago.
For the nine months, net interest income was USD 719.45 million compared to USD 749.09 million a year ago. Net income was USD 323.84 million compared to USD 386.64 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.5 compared to USD 4.22 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 3.5 compared to USD 4.22 a year ago.
