Presight has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gambia's Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy during Gitex Africa 2024. This strategic partnership aims to bolster the digital transformation efforts in the West African country, laying the groundwork for significant advancements in the nation's communications infrastructure. Tasked with building and maintaining Gambia's national communications infrastructure, the MOCDE plays a pivotal role in supporting the country's overall national development.

As part of the agreement between Presight and MOCDE, the two entities will embark on a two phased comprehensive collaboration to enhance digital services and cybersecurity measures across Gambia. Under the agreement, the first phase will focus on the development of digital government services and a national digital identity initiative, both of which are crucial for improving public service delivery and ensuring secure, streamlined access to government resources. Additionally, Presight will support the establishment of a national data center, which will serve as the backbone for the country's digital initiatives.

The second phase of the collaboration will see the establishment of a national safety operations center, designed to safeguard Gambia's digital infrastructure against potential threats. Alongside this, the creation of a Digital Supply Chain Security Lab will ensure the integrity and security of digital transactions and communications, fostering a safe digital environment for businesses and citizens alike.
