PNX Metals Limited announced that it has received all assay results from 27 reverse circulation (RC) and diamond holes drilled at the Mt Bonnie VMS deposit. Mt Bonnie, along with Iron Blow comprises the Hayes Creek gold-silver-zinc project in the Pine Creek region of the Northern Territory. Assay data from the two diamond holes (MBRC039D and MBRC041D) drilled for the purpose of providing material for metallurgical analysis are being used in conjunction with previous PNX and historic drilling to estimate a new resource, due early February 2017. Both the zinc and precious metals concentrates will now be sent for mineralogical analysis to further optimize grind size and reagent parameters. This will then be followed by `locked cycle' flotation tests to establish the metallurgical inputs for resource modelling and PFS flow-sheet design. Evaluation of whole-core for Unconfined Stress testing for ore zones, potential waste material, and hanging and footwall zones was completed on MBRC039D and MBRC041D in addition to the establishment of Bond Work Indices and Bond Work Rod Mill Indices. The results indicate ore of moderate hardness and therefore moderate grinding costs.
