Philippine Business Bank, Inc. Announces Appointment of Juliet S. Dytoc as First Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Effective October 1, 2021

Philippine Business Bank, Inc. announced that the Board of Directors of the Bank approved and confirmed the appointment of JULIET S. DYTOC as First Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, effective October 1, 2021. The Board was informed that the Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee has vetted the qualification of Ms. Dytoc and found that she possess all the qualifications for the position. Ms. Dytoc, 51 years old and a Filipino citizen, has a total of 26 years banking experience and currently heads the Market Risk and Asset Liability Management Division of Philippine National Bank (PNB). Previous to that, she headed the Trust Risk Division of PNB's Trust Banking Group for about ten (10) years. Ms. Dytoc started her banking career as a Management Development Program Trainee of PCIBank Development Academy from September 1995 to July 1996. After which, she began working as an Investment Analyst of PCIB Securities from August 1996 to January 1999. Thereafter, she moved to PCIB's Trust Banking Group as Portfolio Officer (from February 1999 to September 2004). After her stint with the PCIB Group, she moved to Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company as Credit and Risk Officer from October 2004 to August 2008. In September 2008, she moved to Standard Chartered Bank as a Product Manager of its Wealth Management Division, and held this post until December 2009. Ms. Dytoc went back to risk management in January 2010 as Market Risk Head of the Risk Management Unit of Sterling Bank of Asia. Ms. Dytoc holds a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of the Philippines (Bachelor of Arts in European Languages [cum laude] and Master in Business Administration, respectively). She also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and a Fixed Income Salesman Certification.
