Agis Industries (1983) Ltd. is an international developer, manufacturer, importer and marketer of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and consumer products. The Company's pharmaceuticals are primarily generic drugs, especially those developed independently, and ethical drugs, imported by Agis or manufactured under know-how licenses for multinationals such as Bayer AG, Schering AG, Pharmacia Upjohn and Solvay-Duphar. Tayco Diagnostics, which represents a division of Agis Commercial Agencies, provides the domestic market with diagnostic, medical and laboratory equipment. Chemagis Ltd., a subsidiary of Agis, develops and manufactures APIs, focusing on scarce molecules used worldwide by the generic drug industry, and allocates much of its times and resources to research and development. Consumer products are offered by the Careline and Neca subsidiaries, manufacturing cosmetics, toiletries and cleaning products, as well as health and skin products.
