PERMSKIE MOTORY OAO 
By Vladimir Artyakov, first deputy general director of «Rostechnologies» state corporation, visited OJSC «Aviadvigatel» and OJSC «Perm Engine company». The visit took place in accordance with agreements reached by the governor of Perm region Victor Basargin and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. The purpose of the visit was joint review of development objectives for Perm gas turbine building cooperation enterprises.
During the visit Vladimir Artyakov was accompanied by: general director of OJSC «OPK «Oboronprom» Dmitry Lelikov, general director of OJSC «UEC» Vladislav Masalov, head of power generating industrial programs division of OJSC «UEC» Sergey Mikhailov etc. Interests of Perm region were represented by the governor Victor Basargin, Chairman of the Government Gennady Tushnolobov, minister of industry, business enterprise and trade Alexey Chibisov etc. Perm gas turbine cooperation was represented by enterprise top managers: Alexander Inozemtsev (OJSC «Aviadvigatel»), Sergey Popov (OJSC «Perm Engine Company»), Michail Sokolovsky, Vladimir Shatrov (OJSC «NPO «Iskra»), Victor Pykhteyev (ZAO «Iskra-Avigaz»).
At Aviadvigatel the delegation led by V. Artyakov saw the robotized sample preparation area, complex shape parts manufacturing area; attended the assembly of PD-14 engine No. 100-04; saw No. 100GG-04 core at the test bench, the exhibition of parts and components of PD-14 engine, and also attended the full-scale engine test bench where No. 100-03 engine is being tested.
Then at «Perm Engine Company» site Victor Basargin and Vladimir Artyakov held the meeting on the development of cooperation of Perm region enterprises and «Rostechnologies» state corporation. During the meeting V. Basargin noted that the activity of Perm engine building enterprises is critical for the region, as it is the center of gas turbine building cooperation. The government of the region welcomes the dynamics of development of Aviadvigatel's design bureau, production facility and would like to make the most of high-tech products manufacturing competences that Kama region enterprises possess.
At the meeting the managers of UEC declared the prospects of engine-building enterprises development. It is planned that by the year 2017 the volume of aero engines production will treble, and the production of gas turbines will double.
During the meeting the agreement was achieved about the joint development of order placement regulations for UEC enterprises. V. Artyakov noted that it would be a kind of a «road map» of cooperation opportunities realization. The processes of order placement must be transparent and open to the greatest extent possible, take into account economic indicators, technologies, reliability of products manufactured. «This will make the enterprises reduce their costs and give more attractive prices on their products. Thus we will motivate both ourselves and our partner companies that will work in cooperation with UEC».
In conclusion V. Artyakov said: «Perm engine-building «clump» is very important not only for «Rostec» state corporation, but for the whole country, because very deep competences in the sphere of engine building are laid down here. Not only for aviation, but also for industrial use. Understanding the anxiety of the regional government, we will review the possibilities of our projects realization in your region, see the capabilities of every cooperation enterprise in a new light. We will work in an integrated manner, scrupulously and very attentively».
